Planter fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain and could be very hard to treat. Plantar fasciitis caused by overuse, and the resulting strain placed on the fibers close to the plantar fascia attachment to the heel bone. Traditional treatments of this condition consist of rest/ice, night splints, exercise, and medication. These treatments don’t always work and often take a long time.
